Hey, my name is Amy and i’m a full-time graphic designer currently working in Cardiff, Wales. I love to read and review books in my spare time.

I’ve always loved books for as long as I can remember. I was lucky enough to be in primary school when Harry Potter came out and we read it in class. The temptation to not read on ahead of the class was unreal but that sparked my love for fantasy.

Fast forward a few years…

Being in secondary school and college, I never really had time or the thought to get back into reading books, it wasn’t until I was in university that I found The Maze Runner and Game of Thrones books that the interest I had in books returned and there started my literary love affair.

I studied Graphic Design in university and fortunately got a job before I graduated, finding time to read is not as easy as it was when I was in uni. Fortunately, being quite a fast reader, I get through a fair few books. I started collecting more and more books and decided to start a little bookish Instagram account with my views if the books I have read. I didn’t start it to get tonnes of likes but more of a way to express my love for these books.

Now I try to read as much as possible and I have some favourite authors such as Jay Kristoff, Amie Kauffman, Sarah J. Maas, Leigh Bardugo and V.E Schwab. I have joined this wonderful bookish community and subscribed to both Fairyloot and Illumicrate.
